About the 2014 Cow Calendar

2014 Cow Calendars are available for purchase at Chick-fil-A Restaurants nationwide beginning in November 2013. Calendars may also be available from participating community organizations as a fund-raiser (school bands, sports teams, etc.) as early as August 2013. But hurry, because Calendars are only available while supplies last!

Don't live near a Chick-fil-A? We'd love to be closer to you. But until then, Cow Calendars are also available at www.shopchick-fil-a.com beginning in November 2013.

Calendars purchased from any other outlet, especially online auction sites, cannot be guaranteed as authentic.

When purchased from a Chick-fil-A Restaurant, 2014 Cow Calendars are $6 plus tax. Prices from fund-raising groups may vary upward from $6.

Chick-fil-A only sells Cow Calendars with a free plastic promotional card. Paper coupons are no longer printed in the Cow Calendars.

Yes, multiple Calendars can certainly be purchased. However, each Calendar Card must be activated with a separate and unique email address or phone number. No email address or phone number may be used for more than one promotional card activation.

For purchases of ten or more, please contact the Operator at your nearest Chick-fil-A Restaurant. (Click here to locate the Restaurant nearest you.)

Each recipient of a 2014 Cow Calendar will need to activate his or her own card using his or her own email address.

About the Promotional Card

The promotional card is secured in a plastic pocket inside the front cover, just before the month of January. Every card is sealed during production to prevent tampering. Do not purchase a Calendar with a compromised plastic pocket, as the card may have been tampered with.

Registration is required in order to activate the 2014 monthly offers on your card and must be completed prior to use of the card. As well as being required for offer redemption, on-line registration has several benefits:

  • If your online-activated promotional card is ever lost or stolen, we can (and will gladly!) replace it. Click here for details regarding the process for replacing lost or stolen cards.
  • You can easily track which offer is currently on your promotional card, as well as view past history of where and when previous offers were redeemed.

Since 1998, the Cow Calendar has been designed to give you an opportunity to be our guest for a free featured menu item each month of the year. At the first of each month, a new offer will become available on the 2014 Cow Calendar promotional cards, and the offers can be redeemed any time during the month. The monthly offers expire at the end of the respective month.

We know it can be difficult to keep up with paper coupons for an entire year. They get wrinkled, forgotten, or even lost. So we’ve put a new twist on the familiar magnetic stripe card. Using this existing technology in a new way enables us to better serve you. Now, if you lose your 2014 Calendar Card we can replace it (if the promotional card was previously activated online).

We apologize that your 2014 Cow Calendar was not fully assembled. To obtain a complete Calendar, you have two options:

  • For the fastest exchange, you may return the Calendar to the Restaurant where it was purchased. Please be sure to bring your original purchase receipt.
  • Or, you may mail the Calendar and original purchase receipt to our Home Office and we will mail you a new one. Please include a note along with your return mailing address and send the package to:

Activating the Promotional Card

To activate a 2014 Calendar promotional card, click here and follow the instructions on screen. Please note that an email address is required for online activation and only one promotional card may be associated with any given email address. Each 2014 Cow Calendar promotional card must be associated with a unique email address or phone number to complete the activation process. Any combination of legitimate phone numbers and/or email addresses may be used to activate promotional cards for members of a single household.

For example, if a household consists of 3 members who all purchased or were given a 2014 Cow Calendar, their 3 cards could be activated via the applicable telephone or online activation system using any combination of the following:

  • Cell Phone Number(s)
  • Traditional Landline Telephone Number(s)
  • Email Address(es)

Yes. An adult can activate a card on a child's behalf as long as the phone number or email address associated with the child's card has not already been associated with another 2014 Cow Calendar promotional card.

Using the Cow Calendar Promotional Card

  • First, click here and follow the steps to activate your card using your email address.
  • Once the card is activated, it will be loaded with one single-use offer per month. That's twelve opportunities to be our guest for free Chick-fil-A menu items over the course of 2014. Sweet!
  • To redeem the offer of the month, simply bring your activated 2014 Calendar Card with you to a Chick-fil-A Restaurant and present it to the Team Member when ordering the featured item.

Yes, you may redeem an offer in the drive-thru. It is helpful if you let the Team Member know you will be redeeming a Calendar Card offer. Please give your promotional card to the Team Member at the window, along with any other necessary payment. We'll return the promotional card after we swipe it, so you can bring it back next month for another free offer.

If more than one person in your vehicle has a promotional card to redeem, please be sure to let the Team Member know when placing your order.

Except for the change in June and September noted above, please remember that our policy allows the redemption of one offer per person per visit, regardless of whether it is a paper coupon or the Calendar card.

Calendar and/or Card Replacement

If your card was activated online, you may Log In to your account using the email and password you provided when activating your card. After you Log In, click on the Report Lost or Stolen Card button in the top right hand corner of your Account page. You will then be prompted to enter your name and mailing address. After you click Submit, your lost card will no longer be valid at Chick-fil-A Restaurants. To access the website, please click here. Your replacement card will arrive 4-6 weeks after you reported it Lost or Stolen.

Cards that are submitted for replacement through the Chick-fil-A 2014 Calendar Site are inactivated at the time you click Submit on the screen. Your card will no longer contain the monthly offers and will not be recognized as a valid card at Chick-fil-A restaurants. Your replacement card will arrive 4-6 weeks after you reported it Lost or Stolen.

We’re sorry that your phone-activated card has been lost or misplaced. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to replace it because our phone activation system does not capture the same level of information as our online activation system. One of the primary benefits of activating a promotional Calendar Card online is loss/theft replacement.

If your card was activated online, you may Log In your account using the email and password you provided when activating your card. After you Log In, click on the Report Lost or Stolen Card button in the top right hand corner of your Account page. Complete the steps to report your card Lost or Stolen, and a replacement card will arrive within 4-6 weeks. To access the website, please click here.

Unfortunately, phone-activated cards cannot be replaced.

Miscellaneous Questions

We hope that this doesn’t happen, but we will gladly refund your purchase price through December 31, 2013, provided that all three of the following criteria are met:

  • Calendar is returned to the Chick-fil-A Restaurant where purchased
  • Return is accompanied by the original register receipt
  • Calendar is in original condition with all seals intact and the unused promotional card in place

Because each Chick-fil-A Restaurant is individually owned and operated, all three criteria need to be met in order for us to accept the return of a Calendar and issue a refund.

Calendars purchased through a fund-raiser are final sale.
